Ivan Orsic is a Denver-based outdoor filmmaker and photographer specializing in fly fishing.

What began in 2007 as a casual hobby—filming his own casts on Montana’s Blackfoot River with a Flip HD Video Camera—has evolved into a thriving career in content creation. In 2017, Ivan became the full-time visual content creator for Trouts Fly Fishing, serving as their sole in-house photographer and videographer for six years. During his tenure, he was responsible for producing all photography and video content for the company’s website, social media, email campaigns, and marketing materials. In 2023, Ivan transitioned into freelance work, bringing his expertise in visual storytelling to a broader range of clients.

With a passion for capturing compelling narratives, Ivan focuses on the people, places, and, when the story calls for it, the fish that inspire anglers to explore the world around them. While his love for the outdoors led him to photography and filmmaking, he is dedicated to producing high-quality content across all subjects and settings.

Ivan lives in Colorado with his wife, Maggie, and their two daughters. When he’s not behind the lens or on the water, you can find him golfing, smoking meat, and embracing the finer points of middle-aged dad life.
